Bannon attempts to overturn contempt of Congress conviction: Listen live

Former Trump White House strategist Steve Bannon will appear in federal appeals court Thursday afternoon in an attempt to overturn his contempt of Congress conviction.

A jury last year found Bannon guilty of two counts of contempt of Congress after he defied a subpoena from the Jan. 6 House select committee.

The event is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. EST.
