Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell is slated to speak Thursday in New York.

The speech comes as other Fed policymakers have suggested the central bank will keep interest rates unchanged at their next meeting in November.

The Fed kept the 22-year high benchmark rate of 5.25 percent to 5.50 percent unchanged at their last meeting in mid-September.

The event is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. EDT.
