Georgia’s Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis is slated to hold a press conference on Monday after presenting her case regarding efforts to overturn the 2020 election results in the state to a grand jury.
Late Monday evening, hours after the Fulton County Courthouse normally closes, the grand jury voted and returned an indictment, according to reports from those in the building.
It’s not clear who might be named in the indictment or what charges would be included. Clerks at the Fulton County Superior Court said it could take hours for the court documents to be posted publicly.
