Operation Inherent Resolve service member dies in Iraq
A service member in the U.S.-led campaign against the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) died Monday, the U.S. military said.
The Operation Inherent Resolve service member died in Iraq in “a non-combat related incident,” The Associated Press reported.

The military did not release the service member’s identity or nationality, according to the report.
The Iraqi Army, with help from the coalition, is currently trying to regain control of the northern city of Mosul from ISIS.
Mosul has served as the group’s stronghold in Iraq since June 2014.
