The Hill’s 12:30 Report: Ryan, Cruz vote for Trump | National polls tighten | Mitt Romney dresses up as himself | GOP seizes on FBI probe to boost down-ballot candidates| Facepalm emoji is here

JUST NOW — HOW YOU LIKE ME NOW?!: NBC’s Pete Williams is reporting that Attorney General Loretta Lynch and FBI Director James Comey met. It was reportedly “cordial,” including Lynch asking Comey how he was doing. Also out of that meeting: According to Williams, “despite earlier optimism that FBI could review [Huma] Abedin emails quickly, process isn’t moving that fast.” http://bit.ly/2fdUeXr

Happy November! WE ARE 7 DAYS AWAY! I’m literally hyperventilating. I’m Cate Martel with a quick recap of what you missed this morning and what’s on tap for the rest of the day. Send comments, story ideas and pumpkin recipes to cmartel@digital-stage.thehill.com@CateMartel and on Facebook.

‘OOH — YA, YA, YA, LET’S TALK ABOUT THIS INSTEAD!’: Via The Hill’s Jordain Carney and Cristina Marcos, Republicans are using the October surprise to review Clinton’s emails as a last-second boost to House and Senate races. I.e.: A chance to stop talking about Trump? We’ll take it. Where and how: http://bit.ly/2eXdl92

POLLS AND MODELS YOU SHOULD CARE ABOUT:

  • Trump overtakes Clinton: Trump has a 1-point lead over Clinton, 46 to 45 percent, according to a new ABC News/Washington Post national poll. The poll was taken Oct. 27–30 — the FBI announcement about new emails that may be connected to their Clinton probe came on the Oct. 28. http://bit.ly/2f62RqY
  • Who has what it takes: Donald Trump gets the lowest score Gallup has measured when voters are asked if he has the personality and leadership qualities to serve in the White House. Sixty-seven percent say Trump lacks those qualities, while 32 percent say he has them. Hillary Clinton doesn’t have high numbers either: 51 percent say she has the qualities needed, 47 percent say she does not. http://bit.ly/2fAGhHD
  • Final Moody’s election model: Hillary Clinton is projected to win 332 electoral votes to Donald Trump‘s 206, according to the final installment of a closely followed economic election model from Moody’s Analytics. http://bit.ly/2eQCC7k
  • Context to keep in mind: Via The New York Times’s Jugal K. Patel, over 22 million ballots are already in. I.e.: The news is moot for a good chunk of voters. http://nyti.ms/2fAuxoy

WHO EARNED THEIR “I VOTED EARLY” STICKER AND LOLLIPOP:

  • Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) revealed this morning that he voted for Donald Trump, despite tensions with the GOP presidential nominee. http://bit.ly/2f8TDaR
  • Ohio Gov. John Kasich (R) voted Monday for Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) for president instead of Trump. http://bit.ly/2eQkJp7
  • Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) revealed that he voted a straight Republican ticket including, for Donald Trumphttp://bit.ly/2f90gKb

HERE’S A FUN FACT I BET YOU DIDN’T KNOW: Via The Hill’s Mallory Shelbourne, Pennsylvania voters can actually void their absentee ballots and cast a new vote on Election Day. How we know: The Trump campaign is encouraging early voters in Pennsylvania to change their votes to Trump. Trump adviser Dan Scavino tweeted this morning “We hear you Pennsylvania! Nobody likes to be duped! You can change your early VOTE by calling 1-877-868-3772. Join the MOVEMENT. LETS #MAGA!” The tweet was later deleted. How it actually works: Pennsylvania doesn’t allow early voting like other states. Voters must give a reason to get an absentee ballot and the state asks voters who can actually cast a ballot on Election Day at their polling place do so. They are asked to tell election workers if they’ve already cast an absentee ballot, which can be voided, and to cast a new ballot. http://bit.ly/2fAXvUW

{mosads}TOO FAR?: Via Time’s Kate Samuelson, as part of a safe driving drill, a school told students over the intercom that four of their classmates had died in car crash that morning. The four students were notified ahead of time and were not permitted to use their phones to confirm they were OK. That’s a bold move. http://ti.me/2eQCHYE

‘ON THE OUTSIDE I’M SMILING, YES. BUT ON THE INSIDE, INTERNAL SCREAMING’: Hillary Clinton is making the closing argument of her presidential campaign, all while launching a PR counterattack on FBI Director James Comey. Strategy: Aside from fierce surrogate attacks on Comey, there’s little sign the Clinton campaign is changing its strategy. Rather than battening down the hatches in more traditional battleground states, Clinton this week will take her campaign to Arizona, a red state that is a luxury for her in the race to 270 electoral votes. More on her final strategy: http://bit.ly/2dYR6CZ
