One-third of voters say the most important problem facing the country is the coronavirus pandemic, a new Hill-HarrisX poll finds.
Thirty-three percent of registered voters in the Nov. 27-30 survey said the virus was the nation’s top issue.
Fifteen percent of respondents said the economy was the biggest problem currently facing the United States followed by health care and corruption, at 8 and 7 percent, respectively.
The survey found 46 percent of respondents who said they voted for President-elect Biden said the pandemic was the country’s most important issue.
Twenty-one percent of respondents who cast their ballots for President Trump said the same.
A Hill-HarrisX poll conducted Nov. 10-13 found 63 percent of voters said they would likely take a coronavirus vaccine if one became available in 2020, up from 59 percent in a Sept. 10-14 survey.
The Hill-HarrisX poll was conducted online among 2,825 registered voters. It has a margin of error of 1.84 percentage points.
