Doing Better in America

Doing Better in America

The coronavirus pandemic has certainly proved challenging for many across the country – specifically, educators and small business owners. Many had to shut their physical doors permanently, while others have had to make fundamental shifts in the way they operate. As COVID-19 cases continue to surge, Americans are being forced to innovate.

Across the nation, small business owners and educators are leveraging new and creative ways of thinking to stay afloat in tough times. Small businesses are employing new tactics, reorganizing online and investing in e-commerce to remain competitive. Educators are relying heavily on technology and going virtually above and beyond to connect with their students. Under impeccable times of stress, these problem-solvers are making waves in innovation. From those in the education system, food services, micro businesses, and more – these are their stories of doing better in America.

The Hill will convene standout community innovators to highlight inspiring stories of creativity and perseverance among unprecedented times.
