Sharon Stone, Bill Gates, Jada Pinkett Smith to descend on DC

Stargazers, rejoice! From reality TV regulars to big-screen sirens, Washington is playing host to a plethora of celebs this week.

On Tuesday, keep an eye out for Jada Pinkett Smith at the Capitol. The “Matrix Reloaded” actress and Baltimore native is poised to testify about human trafficking before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

{mosads}The wife of “Men in Black” star Will Smith started the organization Don’t Sell Bodies earlier this year. It’s Pinkett Smith’s second visit to the District in less than a month — she met with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in June when the State Department released its 2012 Trafficking in Persons Report.

Bravo’s “Real Housewives of D.C.” might have been a ratings flop, but that isn’t keeping a former “Real Housewives of New York City” star from swinging by the nation’s capital. Kelly Killoren Bensimon is set to sign copies of her new book, I Can Make You Hot!, at Avenue Suites’ A Bar in Georgetown on Wednesday at an event sponsored by Gilt City. Becoming “hot” doesn’t come free, though — $39 gets a guest a signed copy of Bensimon’s book along with some healthy cocktails.

Friday might take the cake for celeb-watchers, as a “Basic Instinct” star, a “Sex and the City” actor and a supermodel invade Georgetown for a good cause.

Fans can get up close and personal with Sharon Stone when she teams up with a skin- and hair-care company to benefit amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research.

The longtime amfAR advocate is slated to greet motorcyclists participating in the organization’s LifeRide at the Georgetown Kiehl’s store on Friday evening.

We hear actor John Corbett, former Ralph Lauren model Tyson Beckford and local chefs Mike Isabella and Robert Wiedmaier will also be at the event, which is free and open to the public.

Stone will likely stick around D.C. for a night — the Hollywood vet, along with Sean Penn and CNN’s Anderson Cooper, will honor Bill Gates for his work fighting HIV and AIDS at an amfAR benefit sponsored by MAC Viva Glam at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts on Saturday.
