McCain touts bill, mulls firing staffer
Sen. John McCain has a remedy to address the nation’s cybersecurity problems, but he’s not real fond of the bill’s name. Not one bit.
The Arizona Republican last week noted at a hearing that he and other GOP senators have crafted a bill that has a very, very long name: The Strengthening and Enhancing Cybersecurity by Using Research, Education, Information and Technology Act.
{mosads}McCain quipped, “I think I will fire the staffer that came up with that name.”
