{mosads}Homeland Security Committee clerk gives birth to baby girl: Natalie Nixon, deputy chief clerk of the Committee on Homeland Security, gave birth to Noelle Evelyn on Oct. 5. Noelle is 7 pounds and 19 inches long. Husband Donald Green works off Capitol Hill.

Rep. Todd Tiahrt’s (R-Kan.) legislative assistant and wife have newborn son: Richard Henkle, a legislative assistant in Rep. Todd Tiahrt’s (R-Kan.) office, and his wife, Amy, a bookkeeper at Dominion Christian School, welcomed son Calvin Keith on Friday, Oct. 2, at 7:36 p.m. at Reston Hospital. Calvin weighed in at 8 pounds and is 21 inches long. Both mom and dad are very thankful for such a cheerful baby, they said.

Ross staffers wed in Mexico: Kristen Yeiser, scheduler and executive assistant for Rep. Mike Ross (D-Ark.), and Scott Lively, Ross’s legislative director, were married Sunday in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Their honeymoon is set for Oct. 31 – Nov. 14 in Tahiti and Moorea.

“Probably the funnier moments of the wedding day was watching two of my friends teaching the deacon from my Baptist church in Texas how to do the Soulja Boy,” Yeiser said.
