The U.S. Chamber of Commerce launched a bipartisan commission to advance U.S. leadership in the use and regulation of artificial intelligence. Former Reps. John Delaney (D-Md.) and Mike Ferguson (R-N.J.) will co-chair the commission.

Raytheon Technologies hired Jennifer Miller as senior director for appropriations and authorizations. Miller most recently was a consultant at the S-3 Group and previously served as a Republican professional staff member for the House Appropriations Committee.

Brooke Barnard joined Sierra Nevada Corp. as senior director of legislative affairs. Barnard previously served as a professional staff member for the House Appropriations Defense Subcommittee.

Justine Turner joined iHeartMedia as vice president of political and advocacy. Turner previously was a campaign staffer for the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee and Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s (D-Mass.) presidential campaign. 

The Better Medicare Alliance hired Chris Long as vice president of government affairs. Long most recently was a health care lobbyist at Bluestone Strategies and previously was director of congressional and public affairs at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. 

The National Association of Manufacturers acquired the Innovation Research Interchange, an organization that helps companies manage technological innovations. The group’s president, Ed Bernstein, joined the manufacturers’ trade group as vice president and executive director.

Ann Patzke Henry joined Corning Inc. as chief of staff for global government affairs. She previously was assistant vice president of federal government relations at the American Property Casualty Insurance Association.
