Katie Grant Drew joined Monument Advocacy’s public affairs practice as a principal. Grant Drew most recently served as communications director and senior adviser to House Majority Whip Steny Hoyer (D-Md.). 

Ballard Partners hired Dave Karvelas as partner. Karvelas most recently served as chief of staff to Rep. Vern Buchanan (R-Fla.), who is expected to become chair of the House Ways and Means Committee if Republicans take the House in 2022. 

Jessica Kramer joined Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck as a senior policy adviser and counsel. Kramer most recently served as Senate Environment and Public Works Committee counsel to Sen. Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.), the committee’s ranking member. 

Max Frankel joined Invariant as a director. Frankel most recently served as legislative director and chief policy adviser on energy and environment issues for Rep. Mike Quigley (D-Ill.). 

KBS Group hired Jason Klumb as a principal. Klumb previously served as regional administrator for the U.S. General Services Administration under former President Obama.

Holland & Knight hired Thomas J. Story as a senior public affairs adviser. Story previously served as legislative assistant for Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.).

Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions Forum hired Marty Hall as a senior policy fellow. Hall previously served as Republican staff director for the House Select Committee on the Climate Crisis.
