Joel Richard joined Invariant LLC as a director. Richard most recently served as senior counsel and chief speechwriter for Rep. Ted Deutch (D-Fla.) and was previously a litigation associate at Mayer Brown LLP. 

Josh Blumenfeld joined YouTube as manager of government affairs and public policy. He most recently was managing director of global policy and advocacy and chief legal officer at Malaria No More. Blumenfeld previously served as senior foreign policy adviser to former Sen. Chris Dodd (D-Conn.).

Kara Calvert joined Coinbase as senior director of public policy for North America. Calvert most recently was a partner at Franklin Square Group and previously served as legislative assistant to Sen. Mike Enzi (R-Wyo.).

Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck LLP hired Kachina Weaver as a strategic consulting adviser. She most recently ran her own firm, Weaver Strategies, and previously served as deputy legislative director for Colorado Gov. Jared Polis (D). 

The Blockchain Association hired Dave Grimaldi as head of government relations. Grimaldi most recently led the Interactive Advertising Bureau’s policy team. He previously served as chief of staff to former Federal Communications Commission Commissioner Mignon Clyburn and senior counsel to House Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-S.C.). 

Mindset hired Lauri Ng as a director. She most recently served as Democratic senior counsel for the House Financial Services Committee.

Rhonda Bentz joined the Consumer Brands Association as vice president of public affairs. Bentz most recently was vice president of paid media and strategic initiatives at the American Petroleum Institute.
