NARAL Pro-Choice America named Mini Timmaraju as the organization’s new president. Timmaraju most recently served as senior adviser to the director at the Office of Personnel Management in the Biden administration. She previously led diversity, equity and inclusion efforts at Comcast NBCUniversal.

Kevin Walsh joined Invariant as a director. Walsh most recently was a government affairs executive at IBM Corp. and previously served as a special assistant to former Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.). 

Emily Coyle joined Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney as a principal. Coyle most recently led cybersecurity and privacy policy at SAP and previously served as legislative director for Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.).

K&L Gates hired Matthew Manning as a senior associate. Manning most recently served as legislative director for Rep. Jimmy Panetta (D-Calif.) and previously was associate director of federal relations at the University of Iowa.

Franklin Square Group hired Jessica Martinez as a partner. Martinez most recently served as deputy chief of staff and legislative director for Rep. Marc Veasey (D-Texas) and previously was a special adviser to the Federal Communications Commission. 

Cisco Minthorn joined the Information Technology Industry Council as vice president for government affairs. Minthorn most recently was senior director of government relations and senior counsel at Intel Corp. and previously served as a senior adviser at the Commerce Department under former President Obama.

The International Franchise Association promoted Mike Layman to senior vice president for government relations and public affairs. Layman joined the trade group in 2015 as vice president of government relations and previously served as legislative director for former Rep. Tim Murphy (R-Pa.).
