The Credit Union National Association hired Jason Stverak as deputy chief advocacy officer for federal government affairs. Stverak most recently served as deputy chief of staff to Sen. Kevin Cramer (R-N.D.) and previously led the Franklin Center for Government and Public Integrity.

Apple Inc. hired April Jones as a senior government affairs policy counsel. Jones previously served as legislative director for Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.), a senior member of the Senate Commerce Committee.

Courtney Taylor joined ML Strategies as senior vice president. Taylor most recently was a partner at public policy firm Mindset. She previously was policy director at the Environmental Defense Fund and served as an attorney for the Justice Department and Department of the Interior.

Jen Farber joined Firehouse Strategies as managing director. Farber previously led advocacy campaigns at communication firms Purple Strategies and GMMB and was a staffer for former President Obama’s 2008 campaign.

Pyxis Partners hired Jason Wallace as a director. Wallace most recently served in Washington, D.C., Mayor Muriel Bowser’s (D) Cabinet and previously served as an advance associate under Obama.

Alyssa Marois joined HSBC Bank USA as senior vice president of public affairs. Marois most recently was vice president of federal government relations at JPMorgan and previously served as legislative director for then-Rep. Kyrsten Sinema (D-Ariz.).

Van Heuvelen Strategies is joining The Vogel Group. Bob Van Heuvelen, the firm’s founder and CEO, will be a principal. Van Heuvelen previously served as chief of staff to former Sen. Kent Conrad (D-N.D.).
