Grant Barbosa, former Senate staffer for Vice President Harris, joined Williams & Jensen PLLC as a principal. Barbosa most recently was senior director of federal government affairs and policy at Emergent BioSolutions. He previously served as a legislative assistant for former Rep. Sander Levin (D-Mich.) and a health fellow for former Rep. Xavier Becerra (D-Calif.), who is now Health and Human Services secretary.

Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck LLP hired Joe Jaso as a policy director. Jaso most recently led state government affairs at Viatris, a health care company that was formed when pharmaceutical firms Mylan and Pfizer-owned Upjohn merged.

Jon Bergner launched his own lobbying firm, Exigent Government Relations. Bergner had served as vice president of public policy and federal affairs at the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies since 2007.

Ferox Strategies hired Ivelisse Porroa-Garcia as director of government affairs. Porroa-Garcia previously served as policy director for the Congressional Hispanic Caucus.

Meagan McCanna joined NVIDIA Corp. as director of government affairs. McCanna most recently led government affairs at Airbnb Inc. and previously served as deputy chief of staff to former Rep. John Kline (R-Minn.).

Summit Strategies hired Jake Oken-Berg as a lobbyist. Oken-Berg most recently served as a senior business adviser to Sen. Jeff Merkley (D-Ore.) and previously served as a special assistant to Sen. Ron Wyden (D-Ore.).
