Student loan company Navient hired Regina Luzincourt as a senior director in its government relations team. Luzincourt most recently led political efforts at the Transport Workers Union of America and previously advised the Biden-Harris campaign on transportation issues.

The Motion Picture Association promoted Ben Staub to senior vice president of federal affairs. Staub has lobbied for the trade group since 2013 and previously served as Democratic professional staffer for the House Judiciary Committee.

DLA Piper named Edward Smith as chair of its regulatory and government affairs practice. Smith joined DLA Piper in 2017 as a partner and currently leads its Washington, D.C., office. He previously served as a legal adviser to former Federal Communications Commission Chairman Tom Wheeler (D).

Trevor Jones, former legislative assistant for Sen. Ron Wyden (D-Ore.), was promoted to vice president of government affairs at USTelecom. Jones joined the trade association in 2019 as a member of its federal legislative policy team.

Bill Behrens joined The Kraft Heinz Co. as vice president and global head of government affairs. Behrens most recently led General Electric’s lobbying team. He previously served as special assistant to the president for intergovernmental affairs under former President George W. Bush.

Peter Oppenheim joined Van Scoyoc Associates as a vice president. Oppenheim most recently served as Republican general counsel of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee.

The Small Business Investor Alliance hired Celia Glassman as director of government relations. Glassman most recently served as senior legislative assistant to Sen. Jim Risch (R-Idaho), former chairman of the Senate Small Business and Entrepreneurship Committee.

Feeding America promoted Vince Hall to chief government relations officer. Hall joined the hunger relief organization in July 2020 as vice president of external affairs and previously served as CEO of Feeding San Diego.
