Francisco Carrillo was named senior director of federal government relations at Pfizer Inc. He previously was district director to Rep. Nanette Diaz Barragán (D-Calif.) for more than three years and before that was executive director of federal relations at the University of California, Los Angeles. He also served as deputy assistant secretary for intergovernmental and external affairs at the Energy Department and deputy director of intergovernmental affairs at the Interior Department during the Obama administration.

Aharon Friedman, former senior adviser to the assistant secretary for tax policy at the Treasury Department during the Trump administration, was named a lobbyist at Federal Policy Group. Friedman worked for the Trump administration for eight months and before that was a senior tax counsel for Republicans on the House Ways and Means Committee, where he worked for more than 13 years.

Edward Hill was named vice president of government relations at ViacomCBS. He previously was vice president of federal public affairs at McGuireWoods Consulting for nearly three years and before that was legislative assistant to Rep. G.K. Butterfield (D-N.C.) for more than three years.

MetLife Inc. announced that Katanya Moore will join the company as vice president and head of regulatory policy, effective June 8. She is currently the director for the Democrats on the House Financial Services Subcommittee on Investor Protection, Entrepreneurship and Capital Markets, where she has worked for the past year. She previously was vice president of federal regulatory affairs and managing counsel at the Financial Services Institute.

Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions announced Shawn Affolter, former deputy assistant secretary for Senate affairs at the Energy Department during the Trump administration, is now vice president of government relations. He previously was an energy aide to Sen. John Hoeven (R-N.D.).
