He was previously a legislative assistant to Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.), for whom he worked for nearly five years.
The Bank Policy Institute hired Ed Hill as senior vice president and head of government affairs. Hill was senior vice president of government relations at Bank of America, where he worked for more than 20 years.
FTI Consulting Inc. named Bryan Zumwalt senior managing director and head of government affairs. Zumwalt previously was executive vice president of public affairs at the Consumer Brands Association for nearly two years and before that was vice president of federal affairs at the American Chemistry Council.
Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck LLP hired Samantha Carl-Yoder as a policy director on its government relations team. She previously was a vice president at Tellurian Inc. and before that spent nearly 17 years at the State Department as a foreign service officer.
Adriane Alicea was named deputy director of government affairs and organization program at Green 2.0. She previously was director of government relations at MENTOR National, special events coordinator at the Center for American Progress and a legislative aide to Rep. Karen Bass (D-Calif.) for more than two years.
Dan Webber was promoted from managing director to president of Edelman’s Washington, D.C., office. He has been with the firm for more than 16 years, previously serving as general manager of corporate and advisory services. Webber succeeds Lisa Osborne, who was named chief operating officer for the firm. She has been at Edelman for more than three years and before that worked at APCO Worldwide, Ogilvy and was a communications director at the Labor Department during the Clinton administration.
Cybil Roehrenbeck was named a partner at the law firm Hogan Lovells. She previously was head of Polsinelli PC’s telehealth practice and before that was counsel at Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP and a lobbyist at the American Medical Association.
