Sydney Bopp joined Holland & Knight as a senior public affairs adviser in the Public Policy and Regulation Practice Group, based in Washington. She previously was the associate director for technology policy at the Bipartisan Policy Center. Before that, she worked in the Loans Programs Office at the Energy Department under Presidents Obama and Trump and was a presidential management fellow at the Transportation Department under Obama.
Leslie Bender was named senior counsel at Clark Hill and will work in the Financial Services Regulatory and Compliance Group, based in Washington. She previously was chief strategy officer and general counsel at BCA Financial Services, Inc., in Miami. Before that, she served as general counsel and vice president of government affairs at ARS National Services.
Boundary Stone Partners hired Steve Koerner as a senior vice president. He previously was federal affairs and public policy manager at Electrify America. Before that, he was director of government affairs at Recurrent Energy.
TechNet promoted David Edmonson to vice president of state policy and government relations. He previously was executive director of Texas and the southeast for two years. Before that, he was executive director of the Austin Tech Alliance for over two years.
The American Society of Association Executives promoted Mary Kate Cunningham to senior vice president of public policy. She previously was vice president of public policy and has worked at the association for more than eight years. Before that, she was a senior adviser at the Federation of American Scientists.
