Former House Democratic Caucus Chairman Joseph Crowley (N.Y.) is heading to Squire Patton Boggs, the firm announced on Tuesday. Ex-Rep. Bill Shuster (R-Pa.), former chairman of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, will also work there. 

The bipartisan technology advocacy firm Franklin Square Group hired Troy Perry as a partner. Perry was director of member services and outreach for former Rep. Joseph Crowley (D-N.Y.).

Holtzman Vogel Josefiak Torchinsky hired Kathleen Guth as a partner. She was previously head of enforcement at the Federal Election Commission. Jonathan Lienhard will also be a partner at the firm and was formerly a special assistant U.S. attorney in the Eastern District of Virginia and a Navy JAG Corps prosecutor in Norfolk, Va.

Ford Motor Company announced that Mitch Bainwol has been appointed as chief government relations officer, effective March 1. He was also elected a company officer. He will report to Joe Hinrichs, who is Ford’s president of global operations. Curt Magleby served as interim lead since August and will return to his role as vice president of U.S. government relations.

Jason Everett joined Covington in its public policy practice. He most recently was Democratic deputy chief counsel to the House Judiciary Committee.
