HCBS Advocacy, an organization focused on infrastructure, hired BGR Government Affairs to provide strategic counsel and advocacy with regard to regulations and legislation that could impact federal infrastructure policy. Joseph Lai, former special assistant for legislative affairs to President Trump, will be among those working on the account.
The Wireless Infrastructure Association hired Capitol Counsel to work on support for wireless infrastructure training and apprenticeship programs in broadband legislation and appropriations bills.
FIREARMS
Palmetto State Armory, a firearms retail and manufacturing company, hired Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough to advocate for clarification of a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives policy regarding firearm accessories. Craig Metz, former chief of staff to ex-Rep. Floyd Spence (D-S.C.), will work on the account.
