LCMC Health, a New Orleans-based network of health care providers, hired Crossroads Strategies to work on matters related to COVID-19 funding. Former Sens. John Breaux (D-La.) and Trent Lott (R-Miss.) will work on the account.
Las Vegas-based on-demand air carrier Steelman Aviation Inc. hired Munk Policy and Law PLLC to work on implementation of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act. Jeffrey Munk, former counsel to ex-Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-Texas), will work on the account.
Molina Healthcare Inc., which provides managed health care services, hired Forbes Tate Partners to work on issues related to COVID-19 and Medicaid. Derrick White, former deputy chief of staff to ex-Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah), and Barrett Thornhill, former legislative assistant to Sen. Mike Crapo (R-Idaho), will work on the account.
HEALTH CARE
Samaritan Healthcare hired Johnston Group LLC to work on funding opportunities for local health care projects for community hospitals, among other issues. Jack Johnston, former legislative director to then-Rep. Jay Inslee (D-Wash.), will work on the account.
TRANSPORTATION
Aberdeen Carolina and Western Railway Co., based in North Carolina, hired Milvian Bridge Government and Public Affairs LLC to work on railway legislation and regulation as it relates to short line railroads and any other legislation and regulation pertaining to railway infrastructure and operations. Wayne Ronald Boyles, former senior legislative assistant to ex-Sen. Jesse Helms (R-N.C.), will work on the account.

Coalition of Hope Foundation Project: Excelsior, which retrofits and designs older naval vessels, hired JM Burkman & Associates to lobby the House and Senate Appropriations Committees. Jack Burkman, the firm’s president, will work on the account.
