Sam Geduldig, former senior adviser to then-House Majority Whip Roy Blunt (R-Mo.), and Mike Nielsen, former senior policy adviser to ex-Sen. Robert Bennett (R-Utah), will work on the account.

Target Corp. hired Forbes Tate Partners to work on issues related to the federal government’s response to the coronavirus pandemic and to the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act. Rick Murphy, who was chief of staff for former Sen. Kelly Ayotte (D-N.H.), and Jeff Forbes, former staff director for Democrats on the Senate Finance Committee, will work on the account.

Wynn Resorts Ltd., which owns casino resorts, hired Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck LLP to work on issues related to coronavirus relief packages. Marc Lampkin, former policy director for the Senate Republican Conference secretary’s office, and Nadeam Elshami, former chief of staff to then-House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), will be among those working on the account.

Chipotle Mexican Grill Inc. hired DLA Piper to work on the federal response to the coronavirus pandemic. Tony Samp, former senior policy adviser to Sen. Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.), and Nathaniel Bell, former senior legislative assistant to ex-Rep. Robert Andrews (D-N.J.), will work on the account.

Mobile payments company Square Inc. hired Capitol Tax Partners to work on issues related to the CARES Act. Lawrence Willcox, former staff director on the Senate Republican Policy Committee, and Jonathan Talisman, former chief tax counsel for Democrats on the Senate Finance Committee, will work on the account.

Gogo Inc., the in-flight internet company, also hired Brownstein Hyatt to work on issues related to coronavirus relief. Geoffrey Burr, former chief of staff to Transportation Secretary Elaine Cho, and Jerome Murray, former chief of staff to Del. Stacey Plaskett (D-V.I.), among others, will work on the account.

Food and beverage company Compass Group hired K&L Gates LLP to work on assistance in assessing and navigating various coronavirus relief programs. Lauren Flynn, former legislative correspondent to Rep. Greg Walden (R-Ore.), among others, will work on the account.

Liberty Tire Recycling hired Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP to work on issues related to the CARES act. Jeff McMillen, former GOP staff director on the House Ways and Means Subcommittee on Oversight, will work on the account.

Personal care products company Harry’s Inc. hired Ballard Partners to work on government relief programs. Brian Ballard, former chairman of Trump Victory, and Sylvester Lukis, a former attorney with the Office of the General Counsel at the Department of Health and Human Services, will work on the account.
