INFRASTRUCTURE. Tradepoint Atlantic, an industrial landowner, recently hired Nossaman LLP to work on transportation and infrastructure funding policy and grant opportunities, according to disclosures. D. Michael Stroud, former deputy assistant secretary of legislative affairs at the Department of Homeland Security, and former Rep. Chris Carney (D-Pa.) will work on the account.

 

Alabama-based McWane Inc., a manufacturer of water distribution and infrastructure products, hired Balch & Bingham to work on federal infrastructure legislation, among other issues. Brian Rell, former chief of staff to Rep. Robert Aderholt (R-Ala.), will work on the account.

 

TRADE. FTI, on behalf of PPC Insulators, a consulting and global business advisory company, hired The Vogel Group to work on issues surrounding Section 301 tariffs. Alex Vogel, former chief counsel to ex-Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist (R-Tenn.), and Brian Johnson, a former director of federal affairs at the American Petroleum Institute, will work on the account.

 

HEALTH CARE. Pharmaceutical company Lilly USA LLC hired Forbes-Tate to work on issues related to legislation on prescription drug pricing reform and issues related to a congressional investigation into prescription drug pricing. Derrick White, former deputy communications director to ex-Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah), and Jeff Forbes, former Senate Finance Committee staff director, will work on the account.

 

Eyepoint Pharmaceuticals, a specialty biopharmaceutical company, also hired Forbes-Tate to work on issues related to health care. Jeff Forbes and others will work on the account.

 

ENERGY. Freeport LNG Expansion, a Texas natural gas company, hired Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck to work on international issues related to the State Department. Jon Hrobsky, former aide in the Interior Department’s Office of the Secretary, and Jason Buckner, former acting director at the Interior Department Office of Congressional and Legislative Affairs, will work on the account.
