Aerospace company Blue Origin, which is owned by Jeff Bezos, recently hired Clark Hill to work on NASA appropriations, launch services for multiple federal agencies and general space and funding issues, according to disclosures. Former Rep. John Culberson (R-Texas) and Kevin Kelly, former chief counsel to the secretary of the Senate Democratic Conference, among others, will work on the account.

TRADE. Budge Industries, LLC, a textile manufacturing company based in Pennsylvania, hired Blank Rome Government Relations to work on issues related to Section 301 tariffs. David Thompson, former senior policy adviser to ex-Speaker Dennis Hastert (R-Ill.), will work on the account.

HEALTH CARE. Guardant Health, a precision oncology company, hired Cassidy & Associates to work on matters including health care, cancer treatment and detection issues, as well as privacy and data security. Julie Eddy Rokala, former chief of staff to Rep. Doris Matsui (D-Calif.), and Kelley Hudak, former coalitions director for Rep. Steve Scalise (R-La.), among others, will work on the account.

FINANCIAL SERVICES. E*TRADE Financial Corporation, including subsidiaries, hired Advanced Policy Consulting to work on passage of the Employer Participation in Repayment Act, which would allow employers to contribute a certain amount tax-free to their employees’ student loans. Matt McGinley, former chief of staff on the Republican Policy Committee, will work on the account.

HOUSING. TRC Companies, a business consulting firm, hired Chartwell Strategy Group to work on military housing issues. David Tamasi, former finance chairman for the Trump Victory Fund, among others, will work on the account.

ENVIRONMENT. Adirondack Council, which is based in New York and works to ensure the “ecological integrity and wild character of the Adirondack Park,” hired AJW Inc., to work on acid rain research. Christopher Miller, former senior policy adviser to ex-Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.), will work on the account.
