Forbes Tate Partners added Andrew Freedman to its public affairs team as they formalize and expand their bipartisan cannabis practice. He was previously the director of marijuana coordination in Colorado under then-Gov. John Hickenlooper (D) from 2013 to 2017. He then co-founded a consulting firm on cannabis policy, Freedman & Koski, and most recently was a partner at Caldwell Capital, a venture capital firm that funds and advises cannabis companies.
Gineen Bresso will be of counsel at Holtzman Vogel Josefiak Torchinsky. She was previously general counsel in the White House Office of Administration and was general counsel for the Presidential Inaugural Committee in 2016. She was also counsel for the Committee on Arrangements for the 2016 Republican National Convention.
Lindsay Baringer will be a PAC manager for Amazon. She previously worked at the political fundraising firm Angerholzer Broz Consulting as assistant vice president. Angerholzer Broz focuses on Democratic members of the House.
Twitter hired Reggie McCrimmon as a senior public policy associate. He previously was a founding partner at public affairs firm R. Alexander & Co. and was director of member services and external affairs for the Congressional Black Caucus during the 114th and 115th Congress.
Twitter also hired Trenton Kennedy for policy communications. He previously was deputy press secretary for Sen. Jerry Moran (R-Kan.).
CGCN Law was launched by former Environmental Protection Agency deputy general counsel Justin Schwab. The firm will provide legal counsel on environmental matters and is a separate entity from CGCN Group, which is a lobbying firm.
