LoBiondo launches consulting firm
Ex-Rep. Frank LoBiondo (R-N.J.) has decided to launch his own firm instead of joining an established K Street firm.
His new bipartisan consulting firm, LoBo Strategies, is based in Ventnor, N.J.
LoBiondo, who served 24 years before retiring in January, is one of two employees of the firm. The other employee is the congressman’s former chief of staff, Jason Galanes. Galanes worked for him for over 13 years and previously was a spokesman and senior adviser on his congressional campaigns.
The firm will work on issues including aviation, defense, drones, intelligence, maritime and Coast Guard concerns, national security and cybersecurity, transportation and infrastructure and environment and fisheries.
LoBiondo was a senior member of the Armed Services Committee and chaired the Transportation and Infrastructure Subcommittee on Aviation. He also served on the Intelligence Committee.
He represented southern New Jersey and was a member of the moderate Tuesday Group caucus.
He plans to work with clients on strategic advice, federal action plans, legislative guidance and public relations support.
