House Dem tweets town hall schedule

Some members of Congress have taken criticism for not holding town halls to discuss healthcare reform legislation. But Rep. Eric Massa (D-N.Y.) won’t have any of it, taking to Twitter to announce his town hall schedule for the next several days.

The freshman Democrat tweeted on Monday:

Almond & W. Almond Town Hall Mtg, M: 8/24, 5-6:30P, 1 Marvin Lane, Almond, NY.

Farmington Town Hall, Tu: 8/25, 5:15-6:45P, Farmington Town Hall, 1000 County Rd 8 (Town Park as backup location).

Perinton Health Care Town Hall, W: 8/26, 5:30-7:30P, Rec Ctr Amphitheatre. Rain backup: Victor High Sch Auditorium, 953 High St. Stay tuned.

Massa will hold meetings in various locales around his western New York district.
