Virginia gubernatorial candidate BobMcDonnell (R) took to Twitter to declare that his campaign will make “a major web announcement” Wednesday night.

McDonnell tweeted:

We have a major web announcement coming soon so make sure to check out www.bobmcdonnell.com this evening!

In the past, McDonnell’s campaign has used Twitter and the web to announce key endorsements.

Throughout the campaign, both McDonnell and his opponent Creigh Deeds (D) have aggressively taken to Twitter to ensure their messages reach a wider audience.
