Top Blue Dog Ross plugs town hall on Twitter
Rep. Mike Ross (D-Ark.), a leader of the Blue Dog coalition, took to Twitter to promote a new website advertising a healthcare town hall in his district.
It remains to be seen if protesters will attend Ross’ meeting since his centrist coalition clashed with Democratic leadership on the health bill.
Ross tweeted Friday:
Check out my new website on health care reform and take my constituent health care survey: http://bit.ly/gyf0J
His new website has a section devoted to a town hall Ross will hold next Friday.
“In July, I stood up to Speaker Pelosi and President Obama and put the brakes on health care reform…so that each Member of Congress would have the opportunity to do what I have already done – 36 town hall meetings on health care – and have time to read the bill,” Ross said on the site.
