Thompson jokes Twitter down because it’s on W.H. ‘enemies list’
Former Tennessee senator and 2008 presidential candidate Fred Thompson (R) used this morning’s Twitter outage to take a shot at the Obama administration.
Thompson tweeted Thursday:
Twitter must have been reported to White House enemies list and that is why it may have shut down!… #tcot #ftrs
The “enemies list” refers to a controversial White House blog post that asked supporters to submit “fishy” online items about healthcare back to the White House. Sen. John Cornyn (R-Tex.) said yesterday that the new media outreach was instead a scam to collect people’s personal data.
Hey, Robert Gibbs did (falsely) say the White House had banned Twitter…
