UPDATED Twitter crashes, political world disintegrates
Try logging on to Twitter. Did you get an error message? So have over 10 million people around the world who tried logging into the microblogging service this morning.
Twitter’s service blog notified users that the site has crashed and that administrators are determining the cause.
Politicians, media members, and political observers have increasingly turned to Twitter for rapid, up-to-date information.
I bet many political junkies are saying one word right now:
UPDATED [11:01am] The Twitter service blog is reporting a “denial-of-service attack” has caused the crash.
