Upstate N.Y. rep. appears with pro hockey players
Rep. Brian Higgins (D-N.Y.) on Wednesday appeared with two professional hockey players to announce funds for a hockey rink in his district.
The third-term Democrat, who represents the city of Buffalo and its environs, joined Chicago Blackhawks star Patrick Kane and Buffalo Sabres prospect Tim Kennedy in promoting new funding for the rink in Buffalo’s Cazenovia Park.
Both players are Buffalo natives. Higgins tweeted:
