Issa’s criticism of W.H. Chicagoans tinged with Pink Floyd
After reading Rep. Darrell Issa’s (R-Calif.) latest tweets, you would think you traveled back in time.
The California Republican referenced both Pink Floyd and Frank Capra’s 1939 classic “Mr. Smith goes to Washington.” Check out how Issa tweeted no love for Chicagoans currently working in the Obama administration:

The first link features a picture of White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel and senior adviser David Axelrod, completing a double entendre. The second link shows an op-ed penned by Issa under the quoted title.
“Welcome to the Machine” is a classic track of Pink Floyd’s 1975 release “Wish You Were Here.” “Mr. Smith goes to Washington,” for those who are unfamiliar, is the tale of a man who is chosen to serve as a replacement U.S. Senator, but confronts great corruption once he reaches the capital.
