Simmons tweets fundraising totals
Former Rep. Rob Simmons (R-Conn.) announced his fundraising totals for his first active quarter on Twitter.
Very pleased to announce our 2nd quarter fundraising total: $753,019.26 with over 5,200 donations!
Simmons is the front runner in the GOP Senate primary. The winner will oppose Sen. Chris Dodd (D) in the general election.
The Hill reported Simmons’ numbers earlier today. Simmons raised over $80,000 online and used Twitter to aggressively promote his efforts.
