Journos gear up for ‘Fourth of July’
The official Twitter of the AP Stylebook is making sure journalists refer to this holiday appropriately.
It tweeted:
Planning ahead: Fourth of July, July Fourth or Independence Day. The federal holiday is observed on Friday when July 4 falls on a Saturday.
Also, when cooking remember that:
Summer’s here and the time is right for barbecue — not barbeque or Bar-B-Q.
