McCaskill unplugs during recess
Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.), a normally prolific user of Twitter, returned to the microblogging site on Sunday after a six-day absence.
McCaskill took a vacation from tweeting this past week during the August congressional recess to spend time with friends and family. (Her verdict on the experience? “Wonderful and weird”)
She returned Sunday, explaining:
Wonderful and weird. 6 days without electronics. Great time with family. It was good for all of us.
Going to take me all day to read all of the tweets I got this week. Believe me, I’m not complaining. It’s great, I missed it this week.
