OFA to live-tweet healthcare strategy session with Obama

Organizing for America (OFA), the field division of the Democratic National Party (DNC), will live-tweet their strategy session on healthcare from the DNC headquarters today.

OFA staffers will tweet using the @BarackObama account, which is operated by the DNC on a regular basis.

The staff tweeted:

OFA is also streaming the session online. President Obama traveled to the DNC headquarters to take part in the meeting with field organizers this afternoon after conducting a radio interview with conservative host Michael Smerconish in the White House Diplomatic Room.

During the session OFA officials, activists, DNC Chairman Tim Kaine, members of Congress, and the president will discuss OFA’s field plan to engender support for healthcare reform.
