Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.) takes a stand:

I agree that it would be good if we could write all legislation, more simply, in plain language.

I’ve heard at least a couple of town hall questions from constituents who have tried to read the healthcare bill and can’t understand it. But honestly, is there any way to restructure 16% of the U.S. economy in plain language?
