Burton apprehensive about ACES vote
Indiana Republican Rep. Dan Burton expressed the sentiment of many-a-GOP congressmen late this afternoon.
He tweeted:
I guess we’ll know tomorrow if Pelosi, Obama, Gore were able to cut enough deals and twist enough arms to impose cap-and-tax
This morning, the Briefing Room reported that House Majority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif) canceled her planned appearance with Al Gore designed to plug the American Clean Energy and Security Act. Instead, she had Gore make phone calls to lawmakers. A source told the Briefing Room that Pelosi was “feeling good” about the vote.
