Chad Ochocinco fined for tweet at Obama, wants W.H. job
Remember when controversial Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chad Ochocinco tweeted at the president, asking him to discuss his tax policies? Apparently, the Bengals won’t let Ochocinco forget it; the front office fined him for tweeting during a film session.
The Bengals flanker also spoke again about his troubles with President Obama’s tax policies. His solution: run across the White House lawn and get an internship there.
Ochocinco, who last year changed his last name from Johnson to mimic his jersey number “85,” tweeted at outspoken Buffalo Bills wide receiver Terrell Owens on Sunday:
@terrellowens81 I was tweeting in the meeting during a film session, it was to Barrack Obama though and I still got fined, taxes high s***
@terrellowens81 if Obama don’t hit me back I will be at the white house on my bye week, Running across that grass with my phone in hand.
@OGOchoCinco ay homie! listen 2 me!! u dn’t wanna run across tht white house grass, b/c IF U DO, u’re gonna b on more than sports center!
@terrellowens81 Man we stuck, I will try and intern at the white house in the offseason, if I get my foot in the door=tax break!
Ochocinco, of course, is one of many wealthy Americans who may face higher taxes as a result of new climate change and healthcare reform proposals.
Owens played the role of wise man, advising Johnson to refrain from breaching the White House’s security perimeter. Perhaps Owens gleaned his advice from reading Cleveland Cavaliers center Shaquille O’Neal’s Twitter feed.
Last week, Shaq tried to walk into the White House but to his chagrin, was not let in. The four-time NBA champion chronicled his attempted visit on Twitter.
