Chad Ochocinco has a tax question for the president

Outspoken Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chad Ochocinco (nee “Johnson”) took to Twitter on Sunday to ask for a few rounds of golf with President Obama to talk over the nuances of tax policy.

The Bengals star, who legally changed his name to “Ochocinco” to reflect the #85 jersey he’s always worn, tweeted at the president’s (DNC-maintained) Twitter account to ask about taxes.

Ochocinco tweeted:

@BarackObama we need to discuss this tax issue, I am trying to get my Bugatti and you’re making it harder for me, few rounds of golf, me n u

Of course, Ochocinco may share the anxieties of a number of high-earning Americans who may face higher taxes soon, especially if the surtax in the House’s healthcare reform bill becomes law.

Of course, this isn’t the first time an outlandish football star has taken to Twitter to voice some strident political opinions.

Buffalo Bills receiver Terrell Owens called Rep. Peter King (R-N.Y.) “ignorant” for the congressman’s comments about the late pop star Michael Jackson.
