SEIU President Andy Stern kept the pressure on senators late Thursday still working to cobble together healthcare reform legislation.
Stern warned that “time is not a friend of change” in a tweet, apparently referencing the August recess delay before the House and Senate pass preliminary bills. Some have speculated that Republicans will use the break to step up efforts to kill the Democratic-crafted reforms.
Stern tweeted:
