Political tweeters adopt ‘Mad Men’ avatars

A couple of political tweeters have changed their Twitter “avatars” (or pictures) to cartoons in the style of AMC’s drama series “Mad Men.”

ABC News’ Jake Tapper, who had become famous in the Twitterverse for adopting a South Park avatar, announced his switch to the “Mad Men” theme this morning, tweeting:

@Jorilominy am giving the South Park avatar a few days off. The Mad Men avatar will fill in until it becomes so trendy he’s fired.

Liberal blogger Matt Browner Hamlin, who also went “Mad Men,” tweeted a link to a site that allows users to make the avatar:

MadMen Yourself: http://tr.im/ukcL (mine kinda sucks though, I think)
