Former Sen. Ted Stevens’s (R-Alaska) legal victory on Wednesday is winning some praise from a notable media figure.
ABC News’s Chief Washington Correspondent George Stephanopoulos tweeted:
Whatever your politics, hard not to feel for Ted Stevens.
The Justice Department dismissed its case against the convicted 85-year-old former lawmaker after uncovering evidence of prosecutorial misconduct. Republican Senators have defended their former colleague’s legacy on the Hill today.
