Toomey makes Twitter appearance
Pennsylvania Republican Senate candidate Pat Toomey made his first appearance on Twitter after his newly-minted Democratic opponent, Sen. Arlen Specter, announced his decision to switch parties Tuesday.
Toomey — employing a “Specter” hash tag on his tweet, no less — asked for donations in a posting:
