Everybody look at Pete, ’cause he’s riding on a bike
Rep. Pete Hoekstra (R-Mich.) has ambitious goals beyond running for governor of Michigan.
Judging by his Twitter page, he’s looking to ride 1,000 miles on his bike — and he got started today.
Starting my 1000 miles today. Knock out 18 this morning. Perfect day for a ride.
Great bike ride today. Only 18 miles but a beautiful morning. On our way to picnic in Oscoda County. Busy weekend.
Hoekstra isn’t lying, either. In Muskegon, Mich., the main city in Hoekstra’s native 2nd congressional district, it’s a beautiful day. It’s 63 degrees there, though the humidity’s a bit high.
