Hoekstra loves him some asparagus
We’re not sure what an “asparagus festival” entails, but apparently Rep. Pete Hoekstra (R-Mich.) was at one.
The Michigan lawmaker is enjoying some of the greens on Sunday after picking some himself.
He tweeted Sunday:
Today we’ll eat the asparagus I picked on job 1. Picked yesterday in Oceana Cnty and then did asparagus festival parade. Great day.
He might look forward more to the National Cherry Festival, which will be held in Traverse City, Mich. on July 4-11.
