Gingrich gives Obama’s speech high marks

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.) was very complimentary of President Obama’s speech in Ghana on Saturday on his Twitter feed.

Here is what Gingrich tweeted.

The Obama speech in ghana is a very positive speech about importance of self government and responsibility of Africans for their own future

Gingrich also praised Obama for referencing and continuing President Bush’s work for fight HIV/AIDS in Africa.

Obama was also generous in recognizing president [B]ush’s extraordinary commitment on hivaids assistance for Africa.

Of course, let’s not forget that Gingrich has been highly critical of Obama about pretty much everything else.
